Many thanks to Dr. Brian Graham and HIllary Kretz- Harvey from the Grand Island CSD for sharing the opportunities and Grand Island's use of AI to improve student learning opportunities. Brian shared some rapidly expanding tools that are rapidly becoming available for teachers and educators. One tool allowed the creation of a draft of a student IEP that could then be revised by the teacher- allowing more time for student contact.
Dr. Kretz-Harvey discussed the use of Khanmigo- an AI generated tutoring service they have provided to all their grade 6-12 students. This tool offers great personalized guided tutoring for kids in a wide variety of curriculum areas in K-12 education.
